Dr. Maggie Thibodeau

naturopathic doctor

Dr. Maggie Thibodeau, ND, is a naturopathic doctor with more than a decade of experience helping clients recover their health through natural therapies. As the director of Cary Holistic Health, Dr. Thibodeau guides her practice members through personalized naturopathic and lifestyle programs.

Dr. Thibodeau received her doctorate in naturopathic medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, Canada’s leading naturopathic education provider.

Dr. Thibodeau is continually advancing her education. She is highly skilled in homeopathy and nearing achievement of Diplomate status with the Homeopathic Academy of Naturopathic Physicians (DHANP). She is also trained in Bowen Therapy—a specialized form of bodywork to help people who struggle with pain.

Dr. Thibodeau started her career as a naturopathic doctor after enduring her own health struggles. When she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease as a young adult, she underwent surgery and was then prescribed medications with serious side effects. She decided there must be a better way. She discovered naturopathic medicine and was inspired to commit her career to helping others with this incredible form of healthcare.

Dr. Thibodeau’s passion is empowering her practice members to take control of their health. When she is not in the office, you will find her spending time with her husband and two sons.

Lisa Lord

HEALTH COACH

Lisa is a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach and a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach. Lisa worked as a registered dietitian for several years before pivoting into corporate positions that included technical writing and editing in health-related industries. She came full circle back to her passion for wellness by training as a health coach with the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy.

Lisa’s interest in health and wellness stemmed from struggles with emotional eating and weight that began in childhood. After years of yo-yo dieting and unhelpful eating patterns, she began exploring personal development and positive psychology, mindful eating, self-compassion, and an overall holistic approach to health and wellness.

In coaching, Lisa helps people discover who they want to be, how they want to feel, and what they truly want their health for. From there, she guides clients in a collaborative process of small steps to bring that vision to life. She believes deeply in the transformative power of shifting one’s perspective and discovering what is possible.

Originally from Maine, Lisa now lives in North Carolina with her Irish husband, their two sons, and their dog, Rory.
