Lisa Lord

HEALTH COACH

Lisa is a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach and a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach. Lisa worked as a registered dietitian for several years before pivoting into corporate positions that included technical writing and editing in health-related industries. She came full circle back to her passion for wellness by training as a health coach with the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy.

Lisa’s interest in health and wellness stemmed from struggles with emotional eating and weight that began in childhood. After years of yo-yo dieting and unhelpful eating patterns, she began exploring personal development and positive psychology, mindful eating, self-compassion, and an overall holistic approach to health and wellness.

In coaching, Lisa helps people discover who they want to be, how they want to feel, and what they truly want their health for. From there, she guides clients in a collaborative process of small steps to bring that vision to life. She believes deeply in the transformative power of shifting one’s perspective and discovering what is possible.

Originally from Maine, Lisa now lives in North Carolina with her Irish husband, their two sons, and their dog, Rory.
